Lutece is a new chef restaurant owned by Chef Ronny Gilmore. It is situated on Rothschild Ave., Tel Aviv, in the historical landmark building which used to house Yin Yang. it is a classic French restaurant, homey and warm, designed with clean lines and light colors, and windows overlooking the avenue. The menu is varied and creative. Especially recommended dishes include shrimps, Jerusalem artichoke mousse and pecans, and - from among the desserts - chocolate milk and cookies.
Ronny Gilmore, the chef, graduated with honors from the Tadmor School and interned in Italy and Hungary. He has worked in Chloalis, Brasserie and Forrel, among other places.
Lotece has a complete no smoking policy, for the benefit of the nonsmoking population.
