An authentic Tripolitan meal
A Gueta meal starts with a selection of appetizing Tripolitan salads:
Chirchi – made of pumpkin and zucchinis in spicy seasoning;
Massierre – made of special pickled vegetables;
A white cabbage salad, Filfel Chuma, a hot salad and properly broken Syrian olives.
We then continue with main courses: Couscous and Mafrum, selection of Tbehas (dishes), fish Chraime in hot sauce and more.
And for dessert: traditional seasoned tea with peanuts, and Safra - semolina cake with preserved dates.
